Dog Day Afternoon is where your dog has fun for the day, a week or longer! Your dog plays with friends during the day, and sleeps in a private room in our comfortable, secure facility. For the safety of your pet, we are staffed in our facility 24 hours.

Making your dog's experience at Dog Day Afternoon fun is our main goal! Prior to leaving your dog with us to play, we will set up an appointment for your pet's "Orientation." You and your dog will meet our staff, get a full tour and learn more about Dog Day Afternoon.
We will find out more about your dog's personality and your expectations, and make sure this will be a fun time for your pet. If it seems your dog will enjoy play at Dog Day Afternoon, we will work with your schedule to arrange overnight care.
Dogs must show proof of rabies, DHLPP & bordetella vaccinations. For your dog's safety, we have a 3-day waiting period after an intranasal bordetella vaccination and a 10-day waiting period after an injectable bordetella vaccination. We have a 7-day waiting period after a DHLPP vaccination. Dogs must be six months or older. Dogs must be neutered or spayed and on a flea control program to board (not required for grooming only).
For your pet's safety, we require dogs to wear harnesses during play
time. They are available for purchase or you may rent one for a charge of
$2.50/day.
* We recommend a "nap time" for boarding dogs to avoid getting overtired during their stay.

Dog Day Afternoon provides your dog's meals .....$2 per meal (dry food or canned food)
We feed high quality dog food.
Special Services
To make your pet's stay safe, fun and comfortable, we are happy to provide extra services such as picking up medication or special food, or taking your pet to the vet for special care. Charges will be determined on a case-by-case basis depending on time, mileage and costs incurred.
