Supervised group play all day long! Your dog plays with friends instead of sitting home lonely and bored. Instead of chewing your shoes, your pet will chew our toys. And when you come home exhausted from a long day, your dog will be pooped, too! Totally crate-free environment.
We group dogs by size and temperament. They play in groups all day long and are always supervised by our staff. We have air conditioned playrooms with special sanitary flooring and an outside play yard.
Making your dog's experience at Dog Day Afternoon fun is our main goal! Prior to leaving your dog with us to play, we will set up an appointment for your pet's "Orientation." You and your dog will meet our staff, get a full tour and learn more about Dog Day Afternoon. We will find out more about your dog's personality and your expectations, and make sure this will be a fun time for your pet. If it seems your dog will enjoy play at Dog Day Afternoon, we will work with your schedule to arrange play dates.
Dogs must show proof of rabies, DHLPP & bordetella vaccinations. For your dog's safety, we have a 3-day waiting period after an intranasal bordetella vaccination and a 10-day waiting period after an injectable bordetella vaccination. We have a 7-day waiting period after a DHLPP vaccination. Dogs must be six months or older. Dogs must be neutered or spayed and on a flea control program to play (not required for grooming only).
For your pet's safety, we require dogs to wear harnesses during play
time. They are available for purchase or you may rent one for a charge of
$1.00/day.

Late pick up..........$5/dog
for up to the first 10 minutes & $5 for up to every 10 minute period after that. Thirty minutes after office hours, our facility is locked for the evening for the safety of our boarders and staff. If your dog has not been picked up by this time, we will feed your pet, give him or her an extra kiss and tuck your pet in for the evening. You will be charged our overnight care rate. |

Special Services
To make your pet's stay safe, fun and comfortable, we are happy to provide extra services such as picking up medication or special food, or taking your pet to the vet for special care. Charges will be determined on a case-by-case basis depending on time, mileage and costs incurred.
